1. What types of VoIP Phones are supported?

We support a range of VoIP Phones. Some of the recommended VoIP Phones are as follows:

2. What type of server runs the VoiceNG PBX system?

Lesswires offers only Dell Enterprise grade servers in mini-tower, rack-mount, Dual-Core Xeon processor. The servers are configured with RAID, redundant power-supplies and sufficient RAM and minimum of 80GB hard disk space. For our appliance product we use a business grade generic processor. 3. What types of softphones are supported ?

We support Xlite available at http://www.counterpath.com/

 

4. What are the bandwidth requirements for VoIP?

VoIP calls require 84kb for the first, and 64Kb (up and down) for each additional concurrent call.

 

5. What type of Internet Connection is required?

Depending on the number of extensions supported, either a Business DSL Line or T1 line may be required at the site hosting the VoiceNG PBX system. Lesswires Inc provides Internet connectivity as an optional service. Please contact us for details

VoIP Trunk is analogous to a phone line in a PSTN network. However, it is a logical trunk that does not need require a physical installation. Lesswires VoIP Trunks allow you to make one phone call at a time. Please note that our VoIP trunks are business grade and are backed with a SLA that offers 99.99% uptime.

10. In case there is an Internet outage, can i still make Phone calls?

VoiceNG products provide an optional feature where all calls can fallback to a PSTN phone line in case of an outage. This is available as an option in our product
